Commentary: My family and I have known Gregory "Woody" Calleri for more than 5 years. Our experience with him has been and continues to be very positive and genuine. We are very impressed with his leadership of young men competing at a very high level as well as his ability to understand they are our sons first and foremost. This may be the aspect of Woody's character that impresses us the most. We have trusted him as part of our son's growth and development into a responsible and disciplined young man. I believe in Woody's goals for the city and would hope you might take the time to understand what he is fighting for is your future.

Commentary: I met Greg Calleri a year and a half ago but have seen him about Lakewood many many times before this. He is always with his three beautiful children. He is taking them on bike rides, dinner at Subway, and trips to Lakewood Public Library. His children are always polite, and have bright smiles on their faces. I see the great care he has for his children, and what a strong force he is in their lives. I know he would be a strong force on the Board of Education if given the opportunity, and for the kids of Lakewood.

Commentary: Greg brings to each challenge a rare sense of leadership as duty rather than privilege. He has consistently used his skills as a leader to provide young men and women with direction, values and self-confidence. His organizational skills have made his charitable efforts huge successes. As a former educator I am pleased that Gregory is directing his attention to the huge challenges that the public school system faces. Given his record of achievement I am sure Greg will have a positive impact on the Lakewood Schools.

Commentary: We first met Greg Calleri several years ago, when our son began playing for his travel Lacrosse league. Over the years of our interaction with Greg, we have found him to be a man of solid character and integrity. It is clear though the guidance that he has provided our son and his teammates, that he wants children and teens to succeed not only in their passion for their sport but also in life. He has shown himself to be generous; professionally open and sharing with his knowledge & skills. We have no doubt his skills and talents will bring positive and effective impact on the goals and priorities of the school board.

Commentary: After having played and worked for Greg Calleri, I believe that he will make an excellent addition to the Lakewood School Board. He puts 110% into everything he does and makes sure that everything is done right. As a coach, he helps his players get numerous looks from top lacrosse programs and speaks with college coaches for several hours a week about them. He was an enormous help to me during my recruiting process and helped me find the perfect school. I greatly appreciate everything he has done for me, especially the way he helped me develop as a player and a person.
